We just made the Shop finding script a LOT better.

Now when you look up shops for an item or by player, you'll see the stock of that item left in the shop, so no more walking around from shop to shop just to find that it's out of stock!

A couple things you need to do to make the shop finder show your shop stock:

• The Chest for the shop must be directly under the sign. This is how shops are normally laid out.
• You must name your item exactly like it's shown on this list:

  • Best way to do this is to just use the item ID, the shop will automatically convert it to the correct name. You MUST use the ID if the normal name won't fit on the sign.

A couple things it doesn't work with:

• Potions. And we won't be adding support.
• Can not differentiate between different colours of wool, slabs in a chest. So if you have wool, slab, leaves, etc chests, try to keep the different types of block in a seperate...

We're back online, hopefully won't have another shutdown.

Server went down unexpectedly, seems all tries to connect to the box are failing, and the datacenter's website is down, I'm guessing for a similar reason that our server is off, for me to even contact them.

Not a very long downtime, everything's back up and running

Datacenter is doing maintenance, power outages expected throughout the day, turning off the server for the next 5 hours, until maintenance is planned to be finished.

Figured that some might not be keeping up to date and would also like local place to discus the new updates.
The bold and underlined sections are what I consider the most interesting.

The DarkCraft iConomy Web Panel is a simple web panel, used mainly to log transactions between player to player coin trades.

It's written in-house. ChrizC wrote the plugin "DarkMoney" that controls the "/confirm <code>" command, and the new "/pay [user] [amount] (message)" command. Myself wrote the web panel and registration forms.

All the things you can currently do with it:

• Send money from the panel.
• See all transactions, you don't need to be online.
• Attach optional messages to payments, if needed.
• See all transaction details, such as exactly when it was sent/received, amount of transaction, and the attached message. (Lots, eh? )

Planned features:

• Ability to request money from a player, with a reason.
• Ability to buy advertising space (for your server shop, etc) on the panel.
• A full lottery system.
• Transaction pagination. Le' done.
• Anything else we may think of!

While developing the iConomy Web Panel tonight, I had gotten to a point where I thought it was complete, it apparently was not. In one of the MySQL queries, a typo was made, and in producion testing when that query was run it caused all iConomy balances to be set to 0.
I hadn't been keeping frequent backups of this table, as I hadn't ever for seen anything going wrong, as nothing had before.

Anyway, without a backup, there's no way to reverse what has happened. Though thankfully, there wasn't an extremely large amount of people with all their diamonds invested into iConomy.

We will accept claims for lost coins, and you will be refunded.

Refunds will not be given out any more, sorry if you lost your chance.

I'll also be keeping extremely frequent backups of the iConomy database from now on prevent a disaster like this from happening again.
